This trailer is a very big travel trailer. There may be some half ton trucks that could technically meet the towing specs, but experienced RVers will tell you to get a heavy duty truck. 3/4 ton trucks are the minimum recommendation.

Also, be sure you are considering fifth wheels. They are more stable and easier to tow than travel trailers, while offering features like more storage and higher ceilings. You're already in heavy duty truck territory with this trailer, so you should at least look at fifth wheels.

Look inside the door frame for a sticker that lists the payload capacity. The vehicle needs to be able to carry the tongue weight of the trailer, passengers, and gear. For a driver, passenger, and gear, that means about 1,616 pounds.
