Trailer Length
Do not buy a bumper pull trailer this long until you understand trailer sway. Trailers over 30ft are tough and tiresome to control. You will need an anti-sway hitch and we recommend a long-bed truck. You may even want a dually. If you find you need a floorplan this large and intend to travel with it regularly, consider purchasing a fifth wheel trailer instead. You will need to buy a bigger truck, but a comparable length fifth wheel will offer a less stressful towing experience.
Cargo Capacity
The cargo weight capacity on this trailer is acceptable for weekend family excursions, including bringing along some toys.
This trailer is an enormous trailer. You are solidly in heavy duty truck territory like the Ford Super Duty or the GMC Sierra HD. With a trailer this long, you may want to get a dually or look at special Hensley style hitches.
Also, be sure you are considering fifth wheels. They are more stable and easier to tow than travel trailers, while offering features like more storage and higher ceilings. You're already in heavy duty truck territory with this trailer, so you should at least look at fifth wheels.
Look inside the door frame for a sticker that lists the payload capacity. The vehicle needs to be able to carry the tongue weight of the trailer, passengers, and gear. For a driver, passenger, and gear, that means about 2,000 pounds.
