Highway towing with a 7.3L gas Ford Superduty, especially pulling heavier loads, gets easier when you learn how to lock out higher gears when approaching hills and overpasses. Its simple to do and makes it easy to use cruise control without overtaxing your engine. I demo how to lockout higher gears in my 2021 F-350 7.3L. The same technique should apply to other Ford trucks, at least any F-250 or F-350 made in the past few years.

Celebrating 50 years in 2022, Kings Island is one of the top amusement parks in North America.
Being in a northern state, the majority of visitors come during the summer months, during which the park is open 7 days a week. If you decide to make your own visit, be sure to check the park’s calendar. We purposely booked towards the end of summer to avoid the large crowds, which worked. However, had we looked a bit harder at their event calendar, we would have seen that the 50th-anniversary fireworks and drone shows ended the day before we arrived.

To see JB's impressions of my 7.3L Godzilla gas-powered F-350, check out his video here: https://youtu.be/t4JuU3k93es
This video is mainly about the drive, if you want to see more on the exterior and interior features of JB's truck, that video is right here: https://youtu.be/vJ3WSMr7rTA

We spent much of the winter traveling across the Gulf states: Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. We needed to head home to Indiana to take care of some things and get ready for spring.
Our last thousand miles was a pretty straight northern trek from the gulf near Mobile Alabama up to Lake Michigan, taking I-65 almost the whole way. We started at sea level, climbed up to the outer edge of the Appalachian mountains in Northern Alabama and Tennessee, and through the windy flatlands of Indiana.

Tires have speed ratings, do you know yours? I’m pretty sure that person that flew past me on the expressway doesn’t.
